Trevor Hearing – Owner and Managing Directorof Studio Arts TV, has been a cameraman, researcher, film researcher, producer, director, writer and executive producer working for Tyne Tees Television, Border Television, London Weekend Television, BBC, and Channel Four. He has worked on a wide range of programmes from Harry Secombe's “Highway" to ITV's true-crime drama series "Crimestory". He has produced investigative documentaries such as Channel Four’s "Tell Them In Gdansk" which revealed the deal that resulted in the closure of the Sunderland shipyards. His interests stretch from documentary to drama: his company Studio Arts Television won the 1997 Royal Television Society North East award for Best Non-Factual Production for championing new writers with its drama series “Writing on The Edge”. He has filmed in many countries including Angola, South Africa, Kenya, Russia, USA as well as throughout Europe. He is a member of the Guild of Television Cameramen and specialises in Long Lens filming and air to air filming. He is currently producing an investigative documentary about the early years of nuclear research.
Heather Chapman – Producer and Marketing Director
has been involved in country pursuits and in particular, horses, all her life - owning a competition and show horse. From a farming family, she is passionate about saving our old country traditions and is now concentrating on making films involving these. Trained as an actor, she decided to change to the other side of the camera after reaching the actresses’ unemployable age of 35! Since joining Studio Arts TV she encouraged them to concentrate on rural projects through their subsidiary company Coast and Country Films and we are at the moment specialising in carriage driving and its’ associated connections in various forms.
